We’re back with our next QConnect, and this one’s all about celebrating Wear It Purple Day.

Wear It Purple exists so that every young person can grow up proud of who they are – knowing they have a right to be themselves, safely and without shame. It’s also a reminder to the rest of us to keep building the kind of industry they’ll want to walk into one day.

So this year we’re keeping it wholesome and full of heart: one big queermunity pub dinner. We’re heading into the gaybourhood – Fitzroy – and taking over the beer garden at The Standard Hotel.

Come along for a pint, split the perfect Guinness with us, or sip a cheeky lemon lime bitters – then get a burger, get some fries, get amongst it. No agenda, just good company.

So bring your friends, your allies, your whole crew. All LGBTQIA+ folks & allies welcome!

What is QConnect?
QConnect is our informal social gathering aimed at bringing LGBTQIA+ people in property, placemaking, design and construction together for no-agenda hangs. It’s a space where we can all be our authentic selves and have some fun.
