The LGBTQIA+ talent is there. Senior leadership still doesn’t reflect it. Let’s talk about why.

Queers in Property is proud to partner with the Property Council of Australia for LGBTQIA+ Visibility and Leadership Pathways on Wednesday 17 June — an industry lunch bringing together sector leaders to examine what’s holding queer professionals back from the top, and what genuine progress actually looks like.

LGBTQIA+ professionals contribute at every level of the property sector. Yet senior leadership rarely reflects that depth of talent. The barriers are structural, they take hold early, and they cast a long shadow — shaping who rises, who is sponsored, and who is seen.

This event cuts through the rhetoric and gets practical — with a keynote from Queers in Property founders Billy Patten and Rossco Karabelas offering a sector-wide temperature check and practical takeaways, followed by a panel of leaders with real experience navigating and championing inclusion at the highest levels.
